Repair tool, massive tutorial overhaul, and a mountain of bug fixes
Greetings Operators,
Lots of feedback from playtesters (thank you!) that makes the whole game feel noticeably better to play.
Repair tool. Press H (like Heal) to enter repair mode. Click a damaged structure to fix it, or drag a box to repair everything inside. It costs resources (a fraction of the build cost).
Tutorial got a serious upgrade. Almost every guided step now has an animated demo screen in the sidebar showing you exactly what to do. Yellow arrows point at ore patches and hotbar buttons when CLAIRE needs your attention, and they disappear the moment you complete the action. Inserter rotation hints now pop up in the world when your inserter is aimed wrong.
New actions toolbar Moved out copy/paste/demolish/repair to a dedicated panel near the minimap!
UI scaling. The options menu now lets you scale the full interface from 50% to 150%. If you're on a high-DPI display or just prefer bigger buttons, this one's for you:)
Turret ammo caps. Inspect a turret and you can now set a max ammo stock per turret, or apply the cap across your entire defense line -> No more dumping your entire ammo stockpile into one turret while the rest starve.
Other stuff:
- Belt rotation now cycles in a consistent order before and after placement
- You can now create T-shapped belt interjunctions
- Inserter placement shows a raised arc and green target brackets
- Camera zoom feels smoother on trackpads with instant scroll response
- Continue save now persists when returning to menu from pause
Bug fixes:
- Loading a save correctly restores miners again (no more silent production stalls)
- The leaderboard now rejects obviously impossible scores
