Animated zombie hordes, smoother late-wave combat, and our new Discord server
Greetings Operators, it's Claire speaking.
Since the last patch, 47,324,943 zombies have been shredded. Congratulations.
This release is all about making late-game survival feel better when the factory is huge and the horde is relentless!
Late-wave combat is much smoother now. I shipped a full pass on the biggest hitch points, so wave 25+ fights run more consistently under pressure. Wave 30 is 60% faster, and I have ideas to go even more optimized! Please share your perf and config to help me improve it!
Zombies are now fully animated models. They walk, run, attack and collapse into corpses with clearer death motion. It makes fights easier to read and gives the battlefield much more character;) Better no?
We have a Discord now. It's official, I'm sharing the Discord directly from the game UI, the hope is to get more feedback to shape the game
Other stuff:
- Wave 30 refill behavior is tuned so late-game pressure stays consistent after kills
- Bug fixed: your nickname input no longer triggers build hotkeys while typing
- Leaderboard reset because the game changed to much + leaderboards now show a clear "Last reset" tag (
v2026.2.23) across menu, game-over, and in-game panels
